Let's take a look at the process of installing an add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace and pasting the content of an email into a specific sheet.
First, install the add-on.

Here, let's paste the contents of the email into a simple sheet like the one below.
First, launch the add-on from the side panel of Gmail.
Assuming you have the following email in Gmail, click the Smartsheet add-on icon from the add-on side panel.
The add-on side panel will change as shown, so select the sheet where you want to paste the email.
Here, depending on the search method, enter Gmail, press the SEARCH button, and select the Gmail add-on usage example that appeared as a candidate.
The screen will change to the one shown below. Select Add a row.
The content of the email will be displayed as shown below, so press the APPLY CHANGES button.
You will see that the addition has been completed as shown in the figure below.
Looking at the targeted sheet, a new row has been added.
Click the conversation icon on the left to see the content of the email in the side panel on the right.
Specific utilization method
This time, we demonstrated using a simple sheet for the demonstration, but the following methods can be considered for actual use.For example, if you have a project sheet, create a Gmail item in advance, and when an email related to a specific task arrives, select the row for that task and attach the email to the Gmail item in that row using an add-on.
